Rangatira Limited (Rangatira) was an unlisted Code company. Rangatira sought approval from its shareholders to acquire its own shares under a proposed buyback. The approval also allowed certain shareholders to retain any increase in their voting control as a result of the buyback in accordance with the Takeovers Code (Rangatira Limited) Exemption Notice (No 2) 2014.
