Chris Mason, CEO of Burger Fuel’s International Business division, and Josef Roberts, CEO of Burger Fuel’s Australasia division formed Mason Roberts Holdings Limited to acquire 46,723,664 shares in Burger Fuel Worldwide Limited (Burger Fuel). The shares were to be acquired from parties associated with Mr Mason and Mr Roberts. The proposed acquisition would result in Mason Roberts Holdings Limited holding or controlling 87.48% of the shares on issue.
The acquisition was approved by shareholders at Burger Fuel’s annual meeting on 7 September 2011.
